More than one million traffic deaths occur each year around the world. We are convinced that there would be fewer deaths if ordinary people knew how to give pre-medical first aid to victims. Globally, the vast majority of the population has such skills. In America, more than 50 percent of people will not be able to help victims when needed. Indifference, fear, and lack of knowledge in ordinary bystanders is also a cause of death on the roads.
The course is designed for all road users – drivers and pedestrians. Besides the basic algorithm of actions in case of an accident and identifying the hazards, the program includes the initial examination of the victim, life assessment and ambulance call. Emergency evacuation and transfer to a vehicle shield are practiced. The course reviews the composition of the automotive first aid kit and makes recommendations on how to complete it.
