A healthy lifestyle is like a fire extinguisher on the wall - everyone knows how necessary it is, but they remember it only in case of emergency. Meanwhile, today healthy lifestyle is in fashion, and adherence to the principles of a healthy lifestyle is a matter of pride for strong-willed and purposeful people. So, if you don't go to extremes, this approach will not turn your life into a hellish agony, but will help to order it. So let's remember the basic principles of a healthy lifestyle.
The regime of the day
We are not characters of the movie Groundhog Day, so every day is not like the previous one, nevertheless, it is important to develop and observe the regime of the day. If you think about it, we regularly perform the same set of actions: sleep, eat, work, rest, and so on without end. If you streamline all of these activities and make a plan, you can use your time efficiently and get a lot more done. It does not mean that your life must be planned by minutes, but a predictable schedule will help you to avoid unnecessary force majeure, and your body – unnecessary stress.
Getting a full, healthy night’s sleep
No matter what they say, a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to start on Monday, but on the evening before you go to bed. Only then will you ensure that you feel good and have the energy to move on to the next items on our list. It is believed that an adult needs to sleep about 7 hours a night, and it is advisable to go to bed at about the same time every day and before midnight. It is better to choose not too hard, but not too soft bed, and the room should be aired in advance.
Managing emotions
It is very important for a person not only what they do, but also how they feel. We can all get into difficult situations, but stress only makes us feel worse, rather than helping to solve problems. Psychologists advise not to fall into despair, but to remember that we control our own lives. Failures should be seen as an experience from which to draw useful lessons. Negative emotions can not only lowers your self-esteem and confidence in others, but also can cause a real disease that doctors will have to treat.
Active morning exercise
Emphasize that rushing between the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen does not apply to exercise. Excuses about the lack of time do not work either. You can squeeze an extra 15 minutes out of even the toughest of schedules. Proper exercise will prepare your whole body for the day’s work. You will stop feeling sluggish, tired and sleepy, and your mood will noticeably improve. The hardest thing is to overcome your own laziness and turn exercise from a test into a habit. The complex of morning exercises can be composed on your own, but it is better to include exercises for flexibility and proper breathing.
Systemic Eating
We won’t talk about “eating right” because the term itself is a matter of debate, but snacking on the run and nightly raids on the fridge are definitely not good for anyone. Develop a suitable eating regime for yourself, which will include at least 3-4 meals at about the same time. Try not to eat later than 2 hours before going to bed. Your diet should be varied and balanced. Take your time and don’t try to combine meals with other things, make a habit of eating within 20-30 minutes rather than trying to swallow a full lunch while scrolling through your to-do list on your smartphone.
