Do you know someone touched by cancer?
Adventist Medical Center is partnering with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to help bring hope and healing to those touched by cancer. We invite you to support the fight against cancer and join our team for the East Portland Relay for Life on August 10 at the Portland Christian School.
Why join the East Portland Relay for Life?
Cancer remains the second most common cause of death in the US, accounting for nearly 1 of every 4 deaths. The ACS does more to assist our cancer patients than any other organization in the area. For example, they provide gas cards for patients throughout the state who come to us for radiation or chemotherapy treatments. Thanks to ACS, patients are able to obtain wigs, receive support services, attend classes for women experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy and obtain transportation for cancer treatments. They are able to learn about cancer research options and have access to whole person care resources to help them through their journey.
