Adventist Health Portland Wins National Marketing Awards

Adventist Health-Portland has been awarded 12 national marketing awards. These awards represent the most awards ever given to the Portland hospital and network of medical clinics for advertising execution.

Seven of the marketing awards were presented by the Aster Awards Program. The Asters represent an elite competition recognizing outstanding excellence in advertising. The 2011 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Participant's entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their category. Judging criteria includes creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

Adventist Health-Portland received 4 gold awards, 2 silvers and 1 bronze for communication in the following categories from the Aster Awards:

A panel of judges from across the United States chose the winners based on quality, creativity, and message effectiveness. The judges were comprised of the editorial board of Healthcare Marketing Report, advertising professionals, healthcare marketers, advertising creative directors, healthcare consultants and marketing professors.
