Hope and Healing for Grieving Parents
The Family Birth Place of Adventist Medical Center is hosting Precious Babies Remembered, a program is designed to help parents throughout the Portland metro area cope with the grief of losing a baby. Parents who experience the pregnancy loss from miscarriage, stillbirth, or newborn death often find the situation to be extremely painful and lonely. Well-meaning family and friends may not completely understand their reactions and may not know the best ways to offer support. The annual hope and healing service brings people together who have experienced the loss of a baby at some point in their life. Compassionate trained staff facilitate the event designed to help in the healing process. The sacred service is free and open to the public.
