Biography
Dr. Svetlana Taycher was born and raised in the Ukraine where she also attended medical school. She specialized in pediatrics and pediatric neurology until she immigrated to the United States in 1994.
Dr. Taycher returned to medical school and graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then moved to the Northwest where she completed a family medicine residency at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.
As a board certified physician, Dr. Taycher values the importance of treating people within the context of their family and social networks.
She enjoys providing comprehensive medical care to family members of all ages, from newborns to seniors. She takes special interest in women's and children's health and preventive care.
Away from her practice, Dr. Taycher enjoys reading, hiking and travel, as well as spending time with her friends and family. She is fluent in Russian and Ukranian.
