Biography
Dr. Liang is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Liang holds degrees in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University. After completing his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, he went on to complete a residency in family medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Following his residency he spent eight years with the Mayo Health System, providing patient care in an emergency department and an urgent care setting. This experience allowed him to acquire additional acute-care skills to enhance his family medicine background.
Dr. Liang joined Adventist Health in 2008. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Liang also speaks Chinese, he is fluent in both the Taiwanese dialect and Mandarin.
In his leisure time, Dr. Liang enjoys playing with his two Labrador retrievers, bicycling, and playing the violin. He and his wife, Waychel, enjoy trying new restaurants and pursuing their joint interest in pottery.
