Biography
Dr. Guyette is board certified in both Family and Integrative Holistic Medicine. She has a master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Illinois and conducted postgraduate vaccine research as well as research in breast feeding and birthing options.
Dr. Guyette weaves together the best aspects of traditional allopathic and integrative medicine to treat the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – not just an isolated disease process. Her unique form of practice strives to support her patient’s and their family’s needs wherever they may be on the path toward healing and self-realization.
Dr. Guyette challenges people to stop in the moment, to look at themselves and see where they are in their lives, if they like what they see, how they feel and where things are going. She askes them to try to not only think the answers, but to feel them as it is her belief that when we “get out of our heads and into our bodies, we can be surprised by what comes up for us.”
In her free time she enjoys training for marathons and running 5K races with her children, training and fundraising for the Susan Komen Race for the Cure. Dr. Guyette also enjoys singing, reading and working in her garden.
