Biography
Dr. Jeffrey Boskind earned his medical degree in 1991 from Loma Linda University School of Medicine going on to complete his residency in General Surgery there as well. He then went to the University of Louisville where he did a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. He remains board certified in both Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery and General Surgery. He has also received additional training in endovascular and peripheral vascular catheter based interventions.
His practice covers all aspects of Thoracic and Vascular Surgery with emphasis and interest in thoracic oncology, aneurysms, and peripheral vascular procedures. He enjoys helping his patients experience excellent cancer survival and improved quality of life. He spends a lot of time with the patient and their families both in the clinic and in the hospital. He recognizes that dealing with cancer and vascular disease can be complex, difficult to comprehend, and difficult to deal with.
In his free time, Dr. Boskind enjoys fly fishing, hiking, climbing, and traveling with his wife and two children. It is not just the quantity of life but the quality of life that really counts.
